About this event The Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT) RGV Chapter will be hosting a “Latina in Progress” Scholarship Luncheon on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at The Radisson Hotel- McAllen from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, to honor and celebrate the Class of 2022! Each student completed the Latinas in Progress™ (LIP) Education Series, which included 5 sessions (1 each month). The topics covered in the sessions included College Preparation, Leadership/Assertiveness Training, Life Skills of Wellness & Safety, Financial Responsibility and Civic Engagement. We are inviting our HWNT supporters and business community leaders the opportunity to join us in empowering and celebrating the next generation of Latina leaders. Individual Tickets are on sale now for $35 and can be purchased via Eventbrite only.
