Cristina Solis Wilson

Cristina Solis-Wilson is an accomplished author, business strategist, and decorated Command Sergeant Major with over 20 years of law enforcement experience and serving over 23 years in the U.S. Army Reserve, including five deployment. Her outstanding service and leadership recognition in the United States Army has earned her the prestigious Defense Meritorious Service Medal, among other military awards.
In addition to her military and law enforcement background, Cristina has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Texas-Pan American. She started her career in law enforcement in 1991 and currently works as a Federal Investigator with the Federal Public Defenders Office.
Cristina is a true leader and a visionary entrepreneur. She is the co-owner of Network Lead Exchange (NLX-McAllen), an exclusive membership-based organization for business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
Since October 2014, Cristina has been part of the John Maxwell Team, an International Trainer, and Coach, and among the exclusive group of coaches selected to train in the country of Paraguay. She serves the workforce with coaching, training, or speaking on leadership. Her passion is adding value to other lives and help individuals in the journey of reaching their goals and purpose.
Cristina’s recognitions are: 2022 “Estrella de Tejas” Award, 2022 “Women Making History” Award, and the 2017 “Women of Distinction” Award in the Military Category.
Cristina's debut book, Finding Your Why, gives readers the tools to overcome their roadblocks and live a purpose-driven life. Cristina currently lives in McAllen with her husband Michael of 29 years and enjoys dancing whenever she gets the chance. She has found her purpose in bettering her community and the lives of those around her and sits on the board of several non-profit organizations.
