Iliana Villalobos

Iliana Villalobos is an attorney at the Villalobos Law Firm where she practices family law, criminal law, and personal injury law. Her belief in the importance of education, a hard work ethic, and faith in Christ began at South Texas Christian Academy, where she graduated in 2014 as valedictorian. Upon graduating, Iliana went on to obtain a Bachelor’s of Economics from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Following in the footsteps of her parents and interested in a career in which she could combine her passion for helping others with her analytical and organizational skills, Iliana attended the University of Texas at Austin School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctorate degree. Ensuring others in the community have access to opportunities and can aspire to success — regardless of their background — has motivated Iliana to get involved with local organizations supporting education. She is a board member of South Texas Literacy Coalition, has served on various committees raising funds for local scholarships and mentors students interested in pursuing a career in law. Iliana holds a passion for reading. Due to the positive impact it has had on her life, she founded RGV Book Club with the purpose of highlighting local and Hispanic authors and creating a space for the community to connect.
