Laura Warren

President and Principal Architect, founder of The Warren Group Architects, Inc. in McAllen and Austin TX. Recently appointed by Governor Abbot as a Commission Member for the Finance Commission of Texas (First Latina Woman to receive this honor). Warren received a Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, post-graduate studies at UAB and Executive Education at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is the former chairman (second woman and first Latina) of the McAllen Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, McAllen Foreign Trade Zone, McAllen Intermodal, and the McAllen International Museum of Arts and Science. Member of the Texas A&M International Advisory Board and the Advisory Board for Lone Star National Bank. Additionally, she is the former president of the International Women’s Board of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and President Elect of the Rio Grande Valley Easter Seals Executive Board. Laura was the first and only woman president of the McAllen South Rotary Club. She received the Presidential Citation from Rotary International for her contributions to the International Community Rotary serves. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, its LRGV Chapter and the Texas Society of Architects. As an architect, Laura has provided award winning designs for companies worldwide who are planning and establish manufacturing and healthcare facilities in the US, Mexico and South America and her firm’s is sought-after by the European Automotive Industry while establishing or expanding new plants in US, Mexico and South America. In addition to serving as the go-to Lead architect for many cities around Texas, her clients include major healthcare, research and Industrial developers as well as FORTUNE100 companies such as: Hunt, Hydro, SpaceX, LG, Corning, Emerson, Stanley Black & Decker, Woodcrafters, Bissel to name a few. Laura is married to her husband of ten years: Dan Ogletree and is the proud mother of William Austin Warren and Rebecca Nicole Warren, both are currently at Texas A&M in pursuit a career in the Medical and Business field. Like their mother, both are actively involved in the community.
