Roxanne Ramirez, LCSW-S is the Executive Director at Hope Family Health Center, Founder of The Healing Centre and Adjunct Faculty at the UTRGV School of Social Work. Roxanne is passionate about Community and believes that collaboration between strong partners paves the way to collective healing. Roxanne is a Certified John Maxwell Speaker, Trainer and Coach, a graduate of Class 41 Leadership McAllen, was selected to participate in the Non Profit Leaders for Excellence Inaugural Class 2022-2023 cohort, is in the Methodist Healthcare Ministries Peer to Peer Leadership Cohort, is an active member of Junior League McAllen, The Hidalgo County Mental Health Coalition, The Hidalgo County Prosperity Task Force, The Organization for Women Executives and The National Hispanic Professional Organization through which she is an avid participant for collective impact in our community. In addition, Roxanne recently was vetted by the Texas Association for Free and Charitable Clinics as a State Board Member where she will use her professional skill set to strengthen Mental Health Services and reduce disparities for the Latino Population. Her passion for providing psycho education and improving mental health literacy has been the propelling force for her to use her voice in Local, State and National Forums as the Spokesperson for HOPE and Mental Health Matters. She is determined to reduce stigma regarding trauma and offer Hope for healing by sharing weekly topics with the community via Therapy Talk with Roxanne.
