Our beloved former Executive Director, Lupe Morin, will be honored by the Texas Legislature on Monday, February 25th in the House of Representatives chamber on or about 4:00 p.m. Representative Celia Israel has sponsored a resolution recognizing Lupe’s leadership and support to HWNT as well as her years of public service and civic engagement.
If you are able to attend please do and wear your HWNT colors. The House Chamber is on the West Wing of the Capitol and public seating is on the 3rd Floor in the Visitors Gallery.
